A man has been charged with murder in last summer's stabbing death of a 27-year-old man.
On July 7, 2007, emergency crews were called to 4301 Kingston Rd. for a fight and stabbing on the 17th floor.
Ajiganth Mahalingam, located in the hallway, died of a stab wound to the heart and aorta.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Mahalingam's close friend, 28-year-old Vimalathas Mohanarajah.
On June 20, Mohanarajah was arrested on outstanding warrants by the Laval Police Service in Quebec.
On Monday, he was arrested for second-degree murder and taken back to Toronto.
Mahalingam was the city's 39th murder victim of 2007.
